Shadis has solved the problem of clogging which was the weakness of static mixer for many years.

  

It is achieved by introducing tongue shaped elements that do not have the intersection at the place to be mixed .

Weaknesses of the other motionless mixers are that they have intersections, protruding objects or dead water space.

  • There are many kinds of motionless mixers which offer a more size- and energy-efficient method for mixing or contacting fluids and serve even wider roles.
  • It is said,however, that one of the more important disadvantages of these mixers is their relatively high sensitivity to clogging by solids.

Gas absorption is best. Ozone will achieve complete reaction with waste water in the Shardis inside.

※Bubble does not occur until sodium sulfite, which is dissolved in water in the reaction tank, is consumed by injected pure oxygen.
   Of course , the exhaust ozone is emitted when the concentration is low .

KLa of Shardis is higher than the other devices, especially in the low-speed gas flow.(Below left)
Even in the range of low gas-liquid flow rate, gas-liquid interfacial area is larger than the other devices.(Below right)

Actually, we have succeeded in the degradation of 1,4dioxane by the ozone with ultrasound.
